I know…I know.
It’s all been photographed by so many ‘greats’ before.
For me - it was all spectacular and new.

Every which way - was wonder.
The undulating light.
The color.
The drop from where we stood to the valley below.
I’d heard so much about the grandeur of the Colorado River.
I’d imagined its vastness…its fury and strength.
And there I was.
It appeared - to me - to be nothing much.

And then - there’s arriving at that Grand Canyon.
How might I capture what has been captured so many times before?
How might I see it my way?
While momentarily pondering - I decided - it matters not.
Its majesty speaks louder than any one image might.
