One Day Bigger

We counted and watched as the ants marched by.
We chased butterflies and hunted ladybugs.
We lay in the grass and laughed as the clouds passed.
We ate popsicles and picked blueberries and made blueberry pie.

He asked how we can tell the rain to stop…and how many more minutes until the sun will shine.
And reminded me - how it is to be only 4 today …but always one day bigger than yesterday.
