What is true here now?
I continue to ask myself that question.
To trust…to believe that there might be an answer.

In an instant the universe has turned itself upside down.

I surrender.
To all that is beyond me.
To all that is far from my control.

What it true here now?
New life.
Another heart beating.
Hope for the future.

My greatest works of art….and those for which I’m most proud.
In the midst of the chaos.
A third grandchild arrives.

There is joy.
There is so much love.

Hearts Beating

Again.
I find myself swept away.
In awe. In wonder.
Ten tiny finger. Ten even tinier toes.

In the wee small hours of the morning…I sit with her heart beating in rhyme with mine.
New beginnings. New life.
I look forward to all her someday becomings.
And know.
She’s arrived in this beautiful world.
So loved.
