One Hand Full
Five.
Just one hand full.
I sometimes believe they're having real conversations.
He said.
She did.
He said back again.
I sometimes believe in happy families. Everywhere.
They are.
He is. So - is she.
Love their childlike innocence and expressions.
How they appear to listen to one another when they talk.
Love these animals...that farm...this life.
So much inspiration. Everywhere.
Stopped Still
They butted heads...and nuzzled...and climbed - playfully - one on top of the other.
They moved without effort...balancing themselves on a log no wider than a beam.
I marveled at their agility...their grace...their skill.
I wondered about their intelligence. What might they know...that I do not?
And then - when I caught them stopped in motion.
Like this.
Still....
and staring at me?
I wondered what they wondered about plain ol'...ordinary me.
