In these past days and weeks - I’ve been sharing with you here a series that I began creating a year ago…
that was exhibited this past summer…
and to which I’m re-visiting as it’s now taking on a whole new and different meaning.

The Journey
Returning and beginning.
Again.
It doesn’t get easier - does it?
One might think - after so many days…weeks…months and years - it might.
It’s really quite simple. Isn’t it?
Show up.
Let go.
Trust in what I know….and I do know this practice.
Try easy.
Find the familiar in this discomfort.
Find the comfort in what is so familiar…and yet - so new.
So many questions.
Can I? Will I? Should I? Do I dare?
Walking the same walk I walk every day.
The lush cool greens of hot summer…are changing to the warm golds of a cooler fall.
Babies cling shyly to their mothers…while the mothers hold their babies near and tight.
Outwardly - it appears - all the same.
Beginning and returning.
Arriving.
Here. Now. Today. In this moment.
Finding new.
I turned just in time to find him following.
I'd step forwards. So would he.
I'd stop. He'd stare back at me.
Somehow - I was reminded.
We're all just walking each other home.
