Captivated - by the color…the late afternoon light…by the never-ending energy in her small wings.
A symbol of metamorphosis and change….of transformation and evolution.
A conduit for light and illusion.
A spirit…a sprite…a dancing fairy.
In that one moment - she reminded me - of joy.
I can show you the trees
And
I can tell you all about the spectacular autumn color
But
I can’t even begin to explain how it is to look…to see….to simply listen.
I’ve walked this walk so many times before…I’d come to believe there was nothing more.
To see. To feel. To taste and touch. To fully experience.
And- yet - on this particular morning before the sun had fully risen.
Something familiar…and something brand new.
Something white in the distance.
I’ve captured these beauties many times…many ways…many seasons - before.
Never have I been lucky enough to capture them quite like this.
