There's always this moment of quiet anticipation. Of arriving. Of connecting. Of listening. Of feeling. Of trusting and knowing that the energy will follow.

As I found myself there beside the pond in my familiar malasana/squat pose- I thought of this practice I do daily on my mat...and of the one I do with my camera. How outwardly they are seeming so different...but inwardly so much the same.

Focus. Concentration. Breath. Conscious awareness.

I wondered about the geese. Their similarities. Our differences. We and they...they and we.

So still. So quiet. So focused on that perfect synchronicity and symphony of breath to movement..movement to breath. On that first exhale - they released into it. On that next inhale - their wings spread and extended up and above and to the sky.

It reminded me of the power...the strength...the energy of community. It reminded me of the beauty and grace that always surrounds us. If we stop. If we listen.
