Is it the thrill of the 'chase'?...or the pursuit of the ultimate 'catch'?

Is it about the joy of 'presence' and 'process'?...or is there a 'goal' and 'destination' in mind?

This morning - I found myself questioning. What it's all about? Does he do what he does because he enjoys the game of 'bird catches fish'..or does he sit and patiently watch and wait with the ultimate prize being in that day's meal?

Am I out there in the magical mist and rising sun for nothing other than the 'experience' and 'joy' and 'beauty' and 'love'? Or - do I have some sort of other hidden agenda...an alterior motive..a plan?

And then - I wondered - which of us is luckier? He - who caught his fish? Or me - who just so happened to be there?

You know what they say. 99% of life is simply showing up. Some days it's better to be lucky than good!
