Paper and String

It was to brighten up our table..to lighten up our lives - that I brought the berries inside. And - as I set them down on the brown paper I'd put out to protect the floors and counters - I couldn't help but notice the simplicity and ease. That this 'nothing-at-all' suddenly took on a whole new and different appeal.

Not a picture that I paint often. Usually - I'm low to the  ground. Usually - I'm looking up.

But today - looking down on the ordinary paper..the berries..the string - I thought that perhaps  there's a story to be told here..a hidden message inside that bottle.

Sometimes - it's simply about a different perspective....a changed point-of-view. Sometimes - that's all that's really needed to see the same ol'..same ol' in a whole new way.
