On this side of the fence - the grass is green. It's full...it's lush..it's mid-summer plush. It's safe. It's known. It's easy and familiar and comfortable.
On the other side - there's nothing but water everywhere. Groundless. Weightless. Without a bottom to catch and hold me...if I should happen to fall.
On this side of the fence - life is predictable.
On the other side - who knows?
On this side - the ground on which I walk is solid and secure. There's a sense of security in the predictability of it all.
But then there it is - that other side. The one that beckons. The one that calls. Waiting. Inviting. In silent anticipation.
'Just jump' - it says. 'Just take that plunge.'
