The grass blowing in the wind. The colors changing. The sun rising in the east and the fullest of full autumn moons setting in the west.
Altho I've seen this moon many many times before....I've rarely seen its face as perfectly grand as this.
I wanted to reach out and touch it...to hold it. I wondered how I might capture and preserve it - all - in a one single frame? How might I find the visual expression for this feeling?
This feeling of being so infinitesimally small...so unimportant in the scheme of life's universal master plan. Somwhere - there - beneath the enormity of the moon.
It was so quiet. Birds singing. Leaves rustling. Nothing and everything. Empty and full.
It wasn't until I looked up thru the tall billowing blowing grasses that I found what it is I'd been wanting. This one singular vision that encompassed it all.
The autumn moon.
