I wondered if she knows that the clocks had changed. That today - the morning light arrived one hour later than it did - yesterday.

I wondered if she was watching me with her one little eye. I wondered if she knew that I was watching her..so peacefully sleeping. I wondered if I was intruding on her quiet space and place. I wondered if she cared. I wondered if she was all alone. I wondered where her mate was. I wondered about what she knows..that I may not. I wondered about nature's secrets that she was keeping.

I wondered if she knows how simply beautiful she is. Even in her sleep - so graceful and grand. How her coat of colors complimented - so perfectly - her surrounds.

I wondered if she knows that spring is near. That good things do come to those who wait. That patience is a virtue.
