Weightlessness of Water

So many of this summer's early mornings have found me quietly immersed in the weightlessness of water.

Steady movement. Steady breath. Endless circles - back and forth.... round and round.

I'd lose myself in the rhythm of daydreams...of the cool mist...of the sun's distant rising. Splashes and sparkles. Soft color. Changing light.

Solitary. Meditative. Soothing. Peaceful. Quiet.

It seemed to be what I most needed. It was my own personal vinyasa - connecting me to all of nature's elements.

To my self. To my body and my mind.

Summer has lingered on and into this month of September. The days are shorter - yes. The air remains still and warm.

The sun rises...and it sets. I'm grateful for this gift of added time.

I'm not yet ready to let it all go. I'm holding tight. I'm still there. Immersed in the weightlessness of water.
