The landscape...the color...the light. It's different here.
After so many years of knowing this...I never imagined that I'd so fall in love with another.

The water reflects and refracts. It bounces from one moment to the next. The river is in constant state of agitated motion.

The earth sits still. Silent and strong. It centers....as its gravitational force grounds me.

In the blink of an eye...the geese take flight.
I'm left breathless.

The cows move slowly.
My breath slows too.

Today - I'm here.

I'd forgotten how beautiful they are as they spread their wings and prepare to fly.
I'd forgotten about their elegance and grace.
How their necks elongate. How they so easily fall into their own syncopated rhythm and rhyme.

Wherever I find myself.
I am.
Searching.
Looking and seeing. Listening and hearing.
Feeling my way.
Seeking the extra-ordinary in the every-day.
