I could share with you our weather. It's winter. It's white. It's record-breaking in every which way.
I could tell you that I'm missing the warmth of the sun...signs of life....splashes of color.
I might want to state and re-state the obvious. It's cold. It's very very cold out there today.
My mind wanders. I'm on a beach. Sand between my toes. The sound of the ocean and its gentle waves. The air smells of a mix of salt and sunshine. My body softens - relaxing and releasing. I breathe. Slowly.
But then....
My mind returns. And - I'm here. In this now. On this day.
There's nothing more precious than its simplicity...its fragility...its momentary and fleeting beauty. It takes my breath away.
