From whichever angle..whichever view - the red rocks dominated the scene. No one would question who or what it was that stole the show.
I wondered at the tenacity of life...at how out of a ground in which roots can't possibly grow..roots did. Trees rose. Trees blossomed and bloomed and grew. Some - tall. Some - short and merely scrub. In a land of little rain..there was green vegetation. Out of nothing and nowhere - there was this.
As I'll be - once and again - practicing the art of weekend quiet. I'll return and begin again on Sunday night.
